Meeting Notes

 

1. Welcome and Call to Order and take roll: Bryce Bowman

 

            Those in attendance

           Visitor: Jeff Jackson (Administrative Intern hours)

2. Review of current Plan and Budget:  Kitty Barney

            1.Reading Goal:

               At least 64% of students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade will show typical or above typical growth, using Acadience.

 

                   2. Math Goal:

             At least 80% of students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade will show at least 45% growth, or achieve 100% on the                     math Student Growth Assessment (SGA).

 

       ● Budget 2020-2021--$61,052.00

 

Reading

             1.Reading Aide Salaries = $14,800

               ● We have paid $7,400 so far this year salaries

 

         2. Art Aide Salary = $6,700

              ● We have paid $3,350 so far this year

 

        3. Technology = $2,200

             ● We have Paid $2,200 so far this year Chromebook lease

 

        4.Leader in Me student books = $2,300

            ● We have Paid $2,974 so far this year

 

       5. Substitutes = $500

 

      6. Professional Development = $800

 

Math

      1. Math Aide Salaries = $14,800

 

            ● We have paid $7,400 so far this year salaries

 

       2. Computer Aide = $6,700

 

          ● We have paid $3,350 so far this year

 

     3. Chromebook Leases $10,000

 

         ● We have paid $10,000 so far this year Chromebook lease

 

     4. Software = $2,200

 

         ● We have paid $2,200 so far this year for IXL

 

Total Budget: $61,000

Spent so far: $38,874

Budget Balance: $22,126

Carry Over Budget from 2019-2020: $18,407- We Hired two additional Math Para for the 2020-2021 school year with this money

       ● We have paid $4,500 so far this year

 

Budget Balance with Carry over: $13,907

Total Budget Balance: $36,033

 

3. Safety (Pull Through and Drop Off): There are now two Paraprofessionals out front in the morning.  These two ladies are reminding parents to not park in the drop off lanes.  The cones and signs have been put out each day!  Thank you Community Council for all of your ideas and help in this matter to keep our students safe.

 

            1. Kitty will contact Green acres Elementary for pictures on their procedures.

 

4. 2021-2022 Plan Review:

              2. Kindergarten iPads are going away next year?   We need to plan on some funds for Chromebooks for these student

           5. Open seats for teachers: This will be determined by how many parents are nominated and voted for. (at least 2 more                             parents than the number of teachers)

8. Other Items: Kitty thank the council for their ideas on safety.  Additional paras were hired to help with the front parking lot.  Cones and signs were set out in the front parking lot.
