Meeting Minutes

1. Welcome and Call to Order and take roll: Kitty Barney

3. Nominations and voting for School Community Council Positions: 

                          1. Chair: Bryce Bowman

                          2. Co-chair: Cheryleen Simone

                          3. Secretary: Nanci Hart

All nominations were seconded and a unanimous vote was given for the above Community Council board.

4. Adopt Rules and Order of Procedures:  School Website

Aubrey Allen motioned to approve.   Andrea Pitts seconded.  Everyone present voted unaminously to adopt the current Rules and Order of Procedures.

5. Trustlands Training Video 

Password protected emails will be sent to Community Council members through the school.

6. Dates and times for this coming years meetings:

             1.Monday, September 20, 2020

             2. Monday, November 15, 2021

             3. Monday, January 10, 2022

             4. Monday, March 7, 2022 (Before March 9th)

All members  in attendance agreed on the dates listed above.

7. Review of current Plan and Budget:  Kitty Barney

              1. Goals (LINK)

                         1. Reading Goal - At least 67% of students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade will                                    show typical or above typical growth, using Acadience.

                         2. Math Goal -At least 85% of students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade with at

                             least 85% attendance, will show at least 50% growth or higher, or achieve 100% on the

                             math SGA.

             2. Budget 2021-2022 - $63,771.00

8. Title I plan: Jen Thomas  

            1. Last Years Plan 2020-2021 (LINK)

            2. The 2021-2022 will be completed this October 1, 2021 Community Council Members will be

                asked to sign the Title I Plan. (LINK)

Community Council members reviewed the Title I plan. All members in attendance signed the Title I signature page.

Mrs. Barney will contact and schedule with Lynn Raymond or another District Tech support to present training Technology Safety at our next Coummunity Council
