 I've taught sixth grade my entire career at Roosevelt Elementary.

 I graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1987. I have bachelor's and master's degree through Weber State University. My master's degree was in curriculum and design. I have and administrator's certificate through Western Governors University.

Who/What inspired you to go into education?

My father was a teacher. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 16 years old. I wanted a profession filled with meaning and service.

What do you do when you aren't in school?

 I spend time with my family. I like to walk, watch sunsets, read, play chess, and talk with people. I also like to garden and grow things. Cooking is also fun for me. I like to travel.

Something Interesting about you:

 I've been to Chile, South America on multiple occasions and to South Korea once. I like to travel, walking around in interesting places, and figuring out public transportation. I love to plan trips and routes.

 Some of my favorite things are: Snickers Bars Dr. Pepper Zero, Yancy Fancy Smoked Gouda Cheese / Ritz Crackers, Peanut M&Ms
