Who/What inspired you to go into education?

 I remember sitting in my very own kindergarten class, looking at my teacher and thinking, I want to be a teacher and teach kindergarten. I also come from a family of educators. I loved listening to their school stories and knew I wanted to be like them and teach children.

What do you do when you aren't in school?

 I love to be with my family. I work in my flower garden and watch netflix.

Favorite quote or your philosophy on education?

 Focus on educating the whole child and nurturing all areas of development.
All I really needed to know I learned in Kindergarten.

Favorite book?

 Where the Wild Things Are.

Something Interesting about you:

 I love to go to the Nutcracker during the holiday season. I wish I could play the percussion instruments especially the triangle and the bells!

Your favorite things:

 I love cookies, M & M's and Coke Zero.

What is your favorite Leader In Me habit and why?

Habit #3 Put First Things First. I love to get my work done and then I can play and do what I want to do with out feeling guilty.
