Grades taught & where?

 I have taught years of preschool at private schools in Utah and Taiwan. I taught preschool last year here at Roosevelt Elementary. I have taught 5th and 3rd grade in Utah County.

 I graduated from USU with a Dual Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. 

Who/What inspired you to go into education?

I have wanted to teach school since I was in kindergarten! My kindergarten teacher was an amazingly kind woman who played the guitar and sang to us. I also had a 5th grade teacher that inspired me to want to teach through her love for teaching.

What do you do when you aren't in school?

 I love to read and exercise. I love spending time with my family and friends.

Favorite quote or your philosophy on education?

 "They may not remember what you teach them but they will always remember how you made them feel."

Favorite book?

 I feel like whatever book I am immersed in at the present. However, "Big Magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert fascinated me. 

Something Interesting about you:

 I became certified as a life coach over the summer. Something I hope to be able to find a future doing even after retirement. 

Your favorite things:

 I love stickers and magnets that have inspiring sayings. I also love bookmarks! My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper and my favorite candy is dark chocolate. I love lime potato chips!

What is your favorite Leader In Me habit and why?

I love them all! For right now Win/Win is truly amazing me. I am realizing the many situations you can create win/win circumstances that make life more joyful and bring unity.
