The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium came to visit our 2nd-grade students and brought some animals from the rainforest. We learned about the levels of the rainforest, what types of animals live in the different levels, and we even got to pet a few. We learned sign language to show what we thought about the animals, so we didn’t scare them with our voices.

Our 4th-grade students had a wonderful time celebrating with their 1st-grade book buddies! 📚💙

Throughout the year, these friendships have grown through reading, learning, and spending time together, and the end-of-year celebrations were extra special. Ms. Martindale’s class surprised Ms. Casperson’s class with cotton candy, a heartfelt thank-you sign, and fun activity stations to give their buddies a memorable goodbye.

Mrs. Hill/Nelson’s class also shared their creativity by making paper caterpillars for their buddies in Miss Clark’s class, while Mrs. Worton’s class surprised their buddies with an exciting 3D creation!

We are so proud of the kindness, leadership, thoughtfulness, and friendship our students showed as they celebrated their younger buddies and wished them the best moving on to the next grade. 🌟

The 2nd grade was invited on a field trip to Bonneville High School to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Mr. Hugie’s Spanish class. We made maracas, played with boleros, played bingo, did the Mexican hat dance, did a bean bag toss while learning colors in Spanish, and got to break open piñatas. We had so much fun!

🌈 Celebrating the Heart of Our School 🌈

Today, we are proud to celebrate two incredible leaders who help make our school a place where students feel safe, supported, and inspired every day — our amazing Principal, Mrs. Hales, and Administrative Intern, Ms. Mangum! 💙📚

To show their appreciation, our students worked together to create a beautiful rainbow display filled with colorful messages, kind words, and notes of gratitude. Each color of the rainbow represents the joy, kindness, encouragement, and positivity our school leaders bring to our community every single day. Just like a rainbow brightens the sky, their leadership brightens our school!

From greeting students with warm smiles each morning to supporting teachers, organizing events, solving problems, and celebrating student success, their dedication helps every child feel seen, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Thank you for your leadership, compassion, and commitment to our school community. Your hard work makes a difference in countless ways, and we are so grateful for all you do!

Please join us in celebrating:

This year, Miss Steele’s class hasn't just been reading about the world; we’ve been out there experiencing it. Our year has been one of discovery, where we’ve immersed ourselves in vibrant cultures and art forms, like attending the LEAP festival. We’ve also turned into environmental experts by hosting guest speakers who taught us the secrets of our local ecosystems and wildlife. We’ve sharpened our storytelling skills with the help of visiting writers who coached us through writing our own personal narratives/experiences. From collaborative projects and guest speakers to celebrating our unique backgrounds, every moment has been about building unforgettable experiences together. We aren't just students; we are explorers, creators, and a class family of learners making every last elementary experience count!

Whether they ran, walked, or cheered from the sidelines, everyone played a part in making this event so special. We’re so proud of our students for setting goals, staying active, and supporting one another every step of the way.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize and support this event. We love seeing our school community come together outside the classroom! Thank you, Golden West Credit Union, for sponsoring the "5k Run for Schools"!
