Meeting Minutes

 

1.  Welcome and Call to Order and take roll: Bryce Bowman

 

                Those in attendance: 

                Parents: Jessica Oyler, Brea Eskelsen, Jodi Dixon, Bryce Bowman

                Educators:  Marie Lyon, Kitty Barney, Tracie Jackson, Melinda Martin

 

               Those absent: 

               Parents: Bobbi Beckstead, Jason Allen

2.Review of current Plan and Budget:  Kitty Barney

                  ● Goals

                       1. Reading Goal:
                       At least 64% of students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade will show typical or 
                      above typical growth, using Acadience.
 
                                            We will be starting Middle of Year (MOY) Acadience testing on January 7th       
                           
                      2. Math Goal
                      At least 80% of students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade will show at least 45%
                      growth, or achieve 100% on the math SGA.
 
                                   We will be gathering the Middle of Year (MOY) Student Growth Assessment (SGA) data this next week

 

   ● Budget 2020-2021--$61,052.0

          Reading

 

                1. Reading Aide Salaries = $14,800

 

                         ● We have paid $5,550 so far this year salaries

 

                  2. Art Aide Salary = $6,700

       

                 ● We have paid $2,634 so far this year

 

                 3. Technology = $2,200

 

                 ● We have Paid $2,200 so far this year Chromebook lease

 

             4. Leader in Me student books = $2,300

 

                 ● We have Paid $2,974 so far this year

 

            5. Substitutes = $500

 

            6. Professional Development = $800

 Math

            1. Math Aide Salaries = $14,800

                       ●  We have paid $5,550 so far this year salaries

 

            2. Computer Aide = $6,700

               ● We have paid $2,634 so far this year

 

           3. Chromebook Leases $10,000

                      ● We have paid $10,000 so far this year Chromebook lease

 

          4. Software = $2,200

                     ● We have paid $2,200 so far this year for IXL

 

Total Budget: $61,000

Spent so far: $30,898

Budget Balance: $30,102

Carry Over Budget from 2019-2020: $18,407- We Hired another Math Para for the 2020-2021 school year with this money

 

                 ● We have paid $2,200 so far this year

Budget Balance with Carry over: $16,207

Total Budget Balance: $46,309

 

3. Goals for 2021-2022:

It was proposed to keep a Reading and Math goal for 2021 for 2022.  We will keep a Leader in Me component as a sub goal of the reading goal.

  • All present voted in favor of keeping a reading and math goal with the proposed subgoal. 

 

4. Utah School And Institutional Trust System Video Link  3:28 minutes

 

5. Health and Safety Link 6:45 minutes

The team talked about our parking lot procedures.

Man power was suggested to include using light up flashing batons (e.g., air traffic control) or switching the way parents pull into the parking lot and drop off area
