Meeting Minutes
1. Welcome and Call to Order and take roll: Kitty Barney
 
             ●Those in attendance:
                     ○ Parents: Bryce Bowman, Erin Eskelson, and Jessica Oyler
                     ○ Educators: Marie Lyon, Tracie Jackson, Kitty Barney, Tracie Jackson, Melinda Martin, and Shelly Harris
           ● Those absent:
                     ○ Parents: Bobbi Beckstead, Jodi Dixon, Brea Eskelsen, and Jason Allen
 
2. Nominations and voting for School Community Council Positions
          1. Chair: Bryce Bowman was nominated as Chair, Shelly Harris seconded this motion.  It was unanimous that Bryce would serve
              as Chair.
          2. Co-chair: Marie Lyon was nominated as Co-Chair, Jessica Oyler seconded this motion.  It was unanimous that Marie would
              serve as Co-Chair.
         3. Secretary: Jessica Olyer was nominated as Secretary, Tracie Jackson seconded this motion.  It was unanimous that Jessica would
             serve as Secretary
 
3. Adopt Rules and Order of Procedures
        ● Bryce Bowman proposed that we adopt the rules of order and procedures as is. All present voted in favor.
 
4. Trustlands Training Video and School Website:
                ● All present watched the Trustlands Training Video and reviewed the school website.
5. The following dates and times were chosen for the coming years meetings
              1. Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 3:30 pm
              2. Monday, September 28, 2020 at 3:30 pm
              3. Monday, January 4, 2021 at 3:30 pm
              4. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 3:30 pm
 
6. Review of current Plan and Budget: Kitty Barney
             Goals
               1. Reading Goal- 64% of students will show typical or above typical growth on Acadience.
               2. Math Goal-80% of students will 45% growth or achieve 100% on Math Student Growth Assessment (SGA)
             Budget 2020-2021--$61,052.00 (based on student headcount on October 1)
 
7. Title I plan: Shelly Harris
             ● Shelly discussed the Title I plan and how it aligns with the school Trustlands Plan and TSSA Plan.  She shared how the
                Community Council will also be signing members of the Title I Plan and that it will be discussed at each Community Council
                Meeting.
 
8. Next Meeting: September 28, 2020, 3:30pm
 
           ● Will review goals; should be able to review Acadience baseline scores
