During the 2015-2016 school year $34,632 was spent with a carryover of $1,215. A total of $30,005 was spent on employee salary and benefits to hire paraprofessionals to provide reading and math interventions and to work with students during PE, library and computers so teachers could meet in PLC meetings each week.
In addition, $1,298 was spent on sending teachers to the Professional Learning Communities at Work conference (PLCs) in order to help strengthen our weekly PLC meetings. Also, $3,329 was spent in providing Wireless Access Points in classrooms so students can use the Chromebooks and iPads within the classroom.
All TrustLand money was spent with the focus being on how to help students meet our math goal of a 2% increase in SAGE and our reading goal of 80% of students on benchmark as measured by the DIBELS assessment. As a council this year we will focus our attention on any adjustments we can make to help us meet our goals.
